And regardless the place where you are, we can bring the solution to your hands, it is for this reason that Odisha Mining Company, with almost 70 years in the mining sector, approached us to eliminate a dust problem in one of its Iron Mines in India.
Through our partner, Universal Mining Solutions LLP, we were able to offer them one of our latest solution for dust control, with a simple presentation for shipment, esoliTSS® Dry Polymer, which is packed in 25kg bags, ideal for this case.
Why was it ideal for this case? Because with a small-sized package, its handling is facilitated, in addition to the fact that, in the case of this Iron Mine, a pilot test would be carried out and thus demonstrate the effectiveness of our product.
It is common for a company with more than 60 years in the market not to trust right away in a product that is not common for the dust control industry, does exist an environmentally friendly copolymer that works for almost all types of soil?
Here we have the context: an area of 135 square meters, with circulation of multiple vehicles, hauling and dump trucks, heavy load, between 35 and 60 tons, more than 70 vehicles per hour, with 24 hours of operation, in summary: heavy traffic, high dust generation, consequences everywhere for the mine.
First solution of the mine, spraying water, which we already indicated that it is, at the very least, a waste of a valuable resource. With weather conditions such as:
- Partly cloudy
- Temperatures between 40°C and 50°C
- Soil with iron ore that can easily form mud and make the soil a dangerous place for trucks to pass through.
- Winds up to 10kph
Water was a useless tool, which soon after being sprayed, it needed to be reapplied to keep the dust at bay. Our proposal was simple but effective, test the mentioned area with our esoliTSS® Dry Polymer dust suppressant, which would take less than 10 minutes to apply.
The operation was carried out with only two equipments: a water tank for filling with product mixed with water, and a pump to supply the tank with water. We always recommend our clients to follow the instructions in the Technical User Manual to achieve optimal results.
